God sees those who persecute, abuse, and torture

God in his perfect justice judges those who exploit others.

(Public-Domain-Image.com)

(Jer 30:16 NKJV) Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey.

Across the world, man's inhumanity to man will recoil on his own head. Gods expresses his perfect justice in the ancient book of Job.

(Job 18:5-10 NKJV) The light of the wicked indeed goes out, And the flame of his fire does not shine. The light is dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him is put out. The steps of his strength are shortened, And his own counsel casts him down. For he is cast into a net by his own feet, And he walks into a snare. The net takes him by the heel, And a snare lays hold of him. A noose is hidden for him on the ground, And a trap for him in the road.

Turmoil will in return strike those who are cruel to others. Those, who chose not to heed the second great commandment to regard others as themselves.

(Job 18:11-21 NKJV) Terrors frighten him on every side, And drive him to his feet. His strength is starved, And destruction is ready at his side. It devours patches of his skin; The firstborn of death devours his limbs. He is uprooted from the shelter of his tent, And they parade him before the king of terrors. They dwell in his tent who are none of his; Brimstone is scattered on his dwelling. His roots are dried out below, And his branch withers above. The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name among the renowned. He is driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world. He has neither son nor posterity among his people, Nor any remaining in his dwellings. Those in the west are astonished at his day, As those in the east are frightened. Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, And this is the place of him who does not know God.

God sees evil men as bullys who devour others as with the ease they would consume a loaf of bread. Such are those as wicked leaders, politicians, judges, enforcers, criminals, murderers, slanderers, the angry, sexually immoral, spouse abusers, abortionists, all those who fail to exercise moral responsibility and who abuse others.

(Ps 14:4 NKJVV) Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the LORD? There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous. You shame the counsel of the poor, But the LORD is his refuge.

Scripture warns humanity there is worldwide day of God's judgment coming against all those who rebelled against him. I see that men choose judgment individually long before they come before the throne. There will be a worldwide rapture for the godly, an end-all battle against the evil, and a divine feast for the holy welcomed by the King.

(Zep 1:14-18 NKJV) The great day of the LORD is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of trumpet and alarm Against the fortified cities And against the high towers. "I will bring distress upon men, And they shall walk like blind men, Because they have sinned against the LORD; Their blood shall be poured out like dust, And their flesh like refuse." Neither their silver nor their gold Shall be able to deliver them In the day of the LORD'S wrath; But the whole land shall be devoured By the fire of His jealousy, For He will make speedy riddance Of all those who dwell in the land.

And Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, will draw his people in the kingdoms of the earth before the throne to serve him.

(Zep 3:8-9 NKJ) "Therefore wait for Me," says the LORD, "Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All my fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy. "For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him with one accord.”

Christian Deaths Double on 2014 World Watch List

More ‘killed for faith’ in Syria in 2013 than in whole world during 2012.

Christian Deaths Double in 2014 World Watch List

Nearly twice as many Christians died for their faith in the past year than in 2012, according to Open Doors International’s 2014 World Watch List.

Open Doors International, a charity that supports Christians under pressure for their faith, said 2,123 Christians were reported to have been killed during the 12 months ending Oct. 31, 2012. That compares to 1,201 during the previous 12 months. During the most recent period, more Christians were killed in Syria alone than were killed globally in the previous year.

The World Watch List, which annually monitors the media worldwide for all reported incidents, emphasizes that this is the “very, very minimum” count – only those who have been documented as killed.

Estimates of the total number killed range from around 7,000 or 8,000, according to the International Institute for Religious Freedom’s Thomas Schirrmacher, to the lofty 100,000 estimate of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity.

Beyond those killed, the World Watch List recommends that three more categories of Christians should be considered: Christians whose death is never reported; Christians killed due to increased vulnerability, such as those in conflict areas; and Christians who die due to long-term discrimination.

Taking these into account, as well as those whose deaths are reported by the media, the World Watch List suggests Schirrmacher’s estimation is roughly accurate, although the figure may be higher still.

Christians aren’t always directly killed, but are so much squeezed with regulations and vulnerabilities that they just perish – not at once, but in the course of years. If we would include them in the counting, it would be an enormous number of people. However, the precise number of Christians who die due to these factors is very difficult to quantify,” according to the World Watch List.

Not surprisingly, Syria heads the list of the countries in which the most Christians were killed for their faith (1,213), followed by Nigeria (612), Pakistan (88) and Egypt (83).
Of the top 10, six are in Africa – with Kenya (20), Angola (16), Niger (15) and the Central African Republic (9) joining Nigeria and Egypt on the list.

The World Watch List states that the number of Christians killed in the Central African Republic is especially likely to have been under-reported because “most analysts still failed to recognize the religious dimension of the conflict”. The list says the same is true of North Korea, where “it is extremely difficult to get public information”.

Beyond the number of Christians killed, the World Watch List focuses upon other instances of violence, including: physical aggression; threats; the destruction of churches or other Christian buildings; attempts to destroy churches or Christian buildings; the closure of churches or Christian buildings; house expulsion or destruction; kidnap for ransom or intimidation; sexual assault; arrests; and displacement.

Considering only the sum of violent incidents recorded, Egypt (167) tops the list, followed by India (125) and Nigeria (118).

Are You a Christian Martyr for the Lord?

From the time the church was birthed on the day of Pentecost,
the followers of the Lord have willingly sacrificed themselves.

China House Churches Mean World's Largest Christian Body, over 90 Million.

From the time the church was birthed on the day of Pentecost,
the followers of the Lord have willingly sacrificed themselves.
Tens of thousand have died that the gospel might prosper,
As such they have obtained the crown of life.
(chorus)
To be a martyr for the Lord, to be a martyr for the Lord,
I am willing to die gloriously for the Lord.

Those apostles who loved the Lord to the end
Willingly followed the Lord down the path of suffering.
John was exiled to the lonely isle of Patmos.
Stephen was stoned to death by an angry crowd.

Mathew was stabbed to death in Persia by a mob.
Mark died as horses pulled his two legs apart.
Doctor Luke was cruelly hanged.
Peter, Philip, and Simon were crucified on a cross.

To be a martyr for the Lord, to be a martyr for the Lord,
I am willing to die gloriously for the Lord.

Bartholomew was skinned alive by the heathen.
Thomas died in India as five horses pulled his body apart.
The apostle James was beheaded by King Herod.
James the Less was cut in half by a sharp saw.

James the brother of the Lord was stoned to death.
Judas was tied to a pillar and shot by arrows.
Matthias had his head cut off in Jerusalem.
Paul was a martyr under Emperor Nero.

To be a martyr for the Lord, to be a martyr for the Lord,
I am willing to die gloriously for the Lord.

I am willing to take up the cross and go forward
to follow the apostles down the road of sacrifice
That tens of thousands of precious souls can saved.
I am willing to leave all and be a martyr for the Lord.

To be a martyr for the Lord, to be a martyr for the Lord,
I am willing to die gloriously for the Lord.

Nigeria Bloody Massacre

Nigeria, 50 Christians martyred in church, 100 killed in 12 villages, farm crops ravaged by Boko Haram rebels.

Nigerian Farmers by Mike Blyth

Church of Christ in Nigeria reeling from massacre.

JOS, Nigeria, July 11 (Open Doors News) – Church of Christ in Nigeria officials tell Open Doors News that their members in the Jos region are fleeing their homes, fearful of more violence in the wake of last weekend’s mass killings in Plateau state.

After a week of rising tensions between the mainly Muslim ethnic Fulani and the mainly Christian ethnic Birom, about 50 members of the Church of Christ in Nigeria around the village of Maseh had fled their homes, taking refuge July 7 in the home their pastor.
The gunmen came Saturday, entering the home and opening fire. Then they burned the house.

Fifty of our church members were killed in the church building where they had fled to take refuge. They were killed alongside the wife of the pastor and children,” said Rev. Dachollom Datiri, vice president of the Church of Christ in Nigeria, in a July 11 interview with Open Doors News at the church’s headquarters in Jos.

Church officials said that in all, about 100 Church of Christ members were killed in the weekend attacks in 12 villages: Maseh, Ninchah, Kakkuruk, Kuzen, Negon, Pwabiduk, Kai, Ngyo, Kura Falls, Dogo, Kufang, and Ruk.

In a country where Christians have suffered violence for more than a decade, last weekend’s mass killings nonetheless have left the Church of Christ, and much of the country, in shock.

They are psychologically traumatized, and their productive economic activities are impeded,” said Rev. Obed Dashan, general secretary of the Church of Christ in Nigeria, of surviving church members.

Most of them are peasant farmers and the attacks have not allowed them to go to their farms. Even those that have planted crops have had their crops destroyed by the Muslim attackers.”

Church leaders claim the Nigerian government is turning a blind eye to persecution of Christians in the country, and fear more violence will occur as a result.

The whole thing is coming to a head,” Datiri said. “It’s been a long-term thing planned by the Boko Haram. This is a jihadist movement with the agenda to Islamize the country. It is a jihad, a religious war against Christians for refusing to embrace Islam. So, they are using terrorism as a weapon. That is the reason you see that the target of their attacks are Christians and our churches.”

Let them be like chaff before the wind, And let the angel of the LORD chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery, And let the angel of the LORD pursue them. For without cause they have hidden their net for me in a pit, Which they have dug without cause for my life. Let destruction come upon him unexpectedly, And let his net that he has hidden catch himself; Into that very destruction let him fall (Psalm 35:5-8 NKJV).

The moron bully boys have slaughtered God's people, their own countrymen, butchering men, women, and children. The Christians killed are in the glorious presence of God.

We pray for the families and friends. We pray for the salvation of all the nation and people of Nigeria to be very strong in battling the cowardly attackers. We pray for the victory of the Nigerian Army.

We pray for God to overcome the Boko Haram rebels, to return them to peace and responsibility, to see the value in all God's Creation and people. We pray for their salvation.

Jesus Ministers Under Attack

Are you surprised when Persecution attacks your Christianity?

Jesus Heals the Sick
by Jean-Baptiste Jouvenet, 1756-59
The Pharisees, as self-styled “religious” men are want to do, looked down their noses at Jesus even in his early ministry. As an observing disciple, I felt angry at them.

Why are you and your men not fasting as we are?”

No one pours new wine into old wineskins or it will tear,” said Jesus. “No, he pours new wine into new wineskins,” speaking of training his disciples.

Why are you doing what is unlawful?”

Jesus and his disciples picked the heads of the wheat on the Sabbath. The Pharisees stuck their noses out again, always trying to accuse Jesus.

Don't you remember David gave his men the consecrated bread when they were hungry?” said Jesus. “The Sabbath is made for man and not man for the Sabbath.” Now that's a point people forget.

Watch him and see if he works and violates the Sabbath.”

When Jesus peached in the synagogue, a man with a shriveled hand came to him. The religious Pharisees had already decided that Jesus healing on the Sabbath was forbidden labor. They were ready to pounce.

Is it lawful to do good or evil on the Sabbath, to save a life or to kill it?” No one answered him. I felt I was ready to fight if anyone stepped forward to stop the Master.

Stretch out your hand,” he said. He looked around with distress at the faces of his religious accusers. The man's hand completely healed without Jesus even touching him. How could the Pharisees call that labor?

They even talked with the Herodian-Sadducee priestly class about how they might kill Jesus.

Jesus was mobbed again by crowds in the days ahead. People came from towns to the west and the north and even from the east across the Jordan. He healed diseases everywhere. He healed the lame; he cast out screaming demons, and the people kept coming. Finally, because of the crowds at the Sea of Galilee, he preached from a boat off shore. Smart, I thought.

He spent the night in prayer on a mountain. He selected twelve men to be apostles. He gave them authority to preach and to drive out demons. There were so many demons in the crowds; it's no wonder. Even the crowds squeezed around one house when Jesus was invited for supper. He could not eat, but continued casting out demons.

He, too, is possessed with Beelzebub,” said the watching Pharisees.

Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit has committed an eternal sin that will never be forgiven,” said Jesus. He said this because the Pharisees and Sadducees were attacking the works of God.

Jesus' family heard about his work with the overwhelming crowds and his trouble with the authoritarian Pharisees. Out of family love, they came to rescue him.

Who are my mother, and brothers, and sisters,” said Jesus. “Anyone who does my Father's Will; they are my mother and brothers and sisters.” And his family left him in peace. (Adapted from Mark 2 & 3.)

Pakistani Woman Charged with ‘Blasphemy’ for Refusing Islam

Compass Direct News

Relatives who became Muslims try to force her to renounce Christian faith.
By Murad Khan

Summary:
FORT ABBAS, Pakistan, March 12 (Compass Direct New) – A young mother has been falsely accused of “blaspheming” Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, because she rebuffed attempts by relatives who had converted to Islam to force her to renounce her Christian faith, family members said. Police in Khichiwala, Bahawalnagar district, in Punjab Province, charged 26-year-old Shamim Bibi, mother of a 5-month-old girl and resident of the village Chak No. 170/7R Colony, in the Fort Abbas area, under Section 295-C of Pakistan’s “blasphemy” statutes after neighbors accused her of uttering remarks against Muhammad. She was arrested on Feb. 28. Speaking ill of Muhammad in Pakistan is punishable by life imprisonment or death under Pakistan’s internationally condemned blasphemy laws. Shahbaz Masih, her brother-in-law, told Compass that one of the two men named as witnesses has denied hearing anything from Shamim Bibi that supports the charge. Bahawalnagar Superintendent of Police Investigation Irfan Ullah acknowledged that one of the two witnesses had admitted to not being present at the alleged “crime” scene at the time of the alleged remark. “The other witness is standing by his claim, and she has produced nothing so far which can prove her innocence,” Ullah told Compass by phone. He vehemently denied that police had caved in to pressure from local Muslims and had registered a case in undue haste.
