<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Special
Day at Market.</b> Before I even set up at 8:30 am, people arrived coming
for ministry, healing, and witnessing. The Holy Spirit was on a roll.
Usually, I'm off to a slow start, but Jesus was off to a jump start.
I prayed for bandaged arms, wrists, feet, wheelchair persons,
kidneys, disabled, aged, and young, some dozen people. God pointed
them out. A few pastors came by and talked at length to get witness
ideas. People came by and chatted intermittently. Different cultures
appreciate when I show them interest. I'm mixed with God's heritage
in family anyway, American Puritan, Indian, Black. I've elbowed with
Orientals, Spanish, Scandinavians, Hebrews. Muslims have saved my
life. I love foreign food. My Dad taught me all are my Brothers and
Sisters in the Family of Man. I contacted “420” men, women, and
childre, a few pregnant ladies. I don't know why others won't join
me. It's so easy and rewarding to witness in the sweetness of the
Holy Spirit. </span>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Giving

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Modern

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

Saturday.</b> Grateful for Earl, Tina, Cassidy, Pastor, John Paul, Linda
helping. “400” contacts made, Men, Women, Children. God is
sending more and more. Special Blessings, God who Loves them all. God
answers every prayer and touches every contact, even a resistant
reply can't get by. One Veteran nicely made me a special cross of
nails for ministry, I'll wear around my neck.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Market,
special witness in the Jesus Harvest. “344” contacts to our quiet
shady new corner. Earl, Tina, and Cassidy came to help. The Holy
Spirit nudged instantly. Some came quick, very supportive, and
friendly. “I'm glad you're doing this.” Some came bashful, but
seeking prayer or ministry. Some dared to approach curiously and
cautiously, not wanting to be church-caught. But our aim is to share
Jesus. Some reluctant believers wanted not to involve themselves
publicly with Jesus at all, and said so. Some feared God, afraid to
even pass us. But I call out, “God bless you.” I always want them
to know. You see, the Holy Spirit backs me. </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Couples
relate</b> together in a successful marriage. They discuss, they
talk, they share daily life together. True, they sometimes differ,
they argue. But they respect each other. They differ about issues,
but they do not generally attack each other cruelly with name
calling. Further, they forgive fast. <i>“Kiss slow, Forgive fast.”
</i><span style="font-style: normal;">T</span>hey come to agreement on
family issues and they respect their children fairly. Discipline,
money, problems, troubles, difficulties, are treated the same way. No
one is perfect. Jesus is perfect. Issues are can be slow in
resolution, but mutual agreement is a goal. Peace is the objective. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><b>The
main thing </b></i><i>in a marriage is to live life together in
Christ,”</i> my wife of 47 years said. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Imperatively,
this means to pray daily together, to read the Bible together, to
worship in the same place or church together.<i> “A family that
prays together, stays together.”</i> Also, we recommend holding
family mini-worship or devotions at home. I remember my Dad always
blessed us children each night on the way to bed. Something like,<i>
“May our Heavenly Father bless you in the wonder and power of his
love, and give you a peaceful sleep in the Name of Jesus.”</i> My
wife and I now enjoy reading five psalms each morning or a scripture
reading to start our prayers. As we grow older, it's our start time
for the day with God. </span>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>The
One Spirit</b> will manifest various supernatural works in the Followers
of Jesus. God, himself, gives the true anointings and ministries of
the Holy Spirit, not man. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(1Cor
12:4-11) “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are
diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in
all.</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>But
the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit
of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to
another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another
faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same
Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to
another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues,
to another the interpretation of tongues.</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>But
one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each
one individually as He wills.”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>The
Spirit appoints</b> unique supernatural positions of duties in the
congregation of followers. No, these are not prescribed by scripture
to the same person but throughout the body as God determines.
Although, some may overlap as experienced. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(1Cor
12:28-30) “And God has appointed these in the church: first
apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then
gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>Are
all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of
miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues?
Do all interpret?”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Not
least </b>are the godly behaviors of the believers empowered by the
presence of the Divine Spirit. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Gal

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>I hear
the Holy Spirit, </b>as others also say, calling us to new and surprising
things. Pray and Witness daily. He will use us in new places of
ministry, spiritually and physically. Do not seek provision for
these, he will so provide his way. Also, prayer is very powerful, as
incense rising to his Throne. Believe by faith, know he hears and
acts on every prayer divinely, whether you see or do not see visibly.
Tend to scriptural teaching. Rid yourselves of things that block God.
Dwell in his Divine Love. “Forgive fast! Love slowly!” as some
say. </span>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">A
Gift. Your salvation or religious faith does not depend on church,
doctrine, works, good deeds, prayer, reading the Bible. These things
will not save you. Only your relationship with his wonderful person
will save you, Jesus Messiah, the Son of God. He gives this to you as
a free gift, you can not earn it. Ask him. Repent of your sins, and
believe wholly in him. Receive the gift of his loving relationship.
Practice the daily Presence of God. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Consider,
150,000-180,000 people die worldwide everyday. How many actually
expect death today? Have you ever helped anyone prepare for death?
How many live for Jesus Messiah? How many actually enter Heaven? Most
people, I've seen, die as they live, in love or hate. Why is there a
Hell? Who goes there? Who goes to Heaven? What does God's Word say?
And what is your destiny? </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Why
these severe winter storms? The Northeast is the most unchurched
attending, non-Bible believing section of the USA. Even TV News
surveys have reflected this. Does God care? Time to turn to Jesus
Messiah and reflect on God. Job writes, </span>

the broad waters are frozen. Also with moisture He saturates the
thick clouds; He scatters His bright clouds. And they swirl about,
being turned by His guidance, That they may do whatever He commands
them On the face of the whole earth. He causes it to come, Whether
for correction, Or for His land, Or for mercy” (NKJV, Job 37:9-13).

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Pornography
is a great deception gripping the world, society, and the church.
Pornography hinders a man's love relationship with God, as it hinders
and hurts the love relationship with his wife. Likewise, this occurs
with women as well as men. This tears children, marriages, and
families. Pornography is the addiction link to world prostitution and
trafficking. God warns, </span>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Witness
Report. My brother's feet and my hands were very cold this morning as
we two friends ministered and prayed for healing in the town market
barn. Jesus was standing with us from our starting prayer. We talked
with many people, a Jewish man, Philippine woman, couple of Spanish
ladies, a seasoned Veteran crew chief from a C-130, teens, singles,
the elderly, mothers, children, dads, many women and many men. “I
also send the children,” Jesus whispered to me earlier. They too
are important. Oh yes, four or five truckers came in separately at
different times to ask for red witness stickers for their trucks. Go
figure! We used <a href="http://blessitt.com/" target="_blank">Arthur Blessitt </a>reds as well as<a href="http://wayofthemaster.com/" target="_blank"> Way of the Master</a>
witness dollars and pennies. Adults and children loved them. We gave
out 117 reds even in the cold. How can you be so cold and have so
much fun? </span>

<div style="font-weight: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: large;">“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>For
we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved
and among those who are perishing.” </i></span></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>One thing's for certain. </b>The
Creator created people to Love, like a child to a father and mother.
Thus, he would Not create them to hate, abuse, and kill. Man's free
will distorted that all by himself; then man turns and blames it on
God! Makes no sense. God Loves his Creation like a master artist.</span><br />
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>How
does GOD regard you?</b><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b> </b>God is Big! He
created a Universe from nothing 14 Billion light years across
precisely orbiting some 100 Billion Galaxies. Two primary qualities
of God are infinite Holiness and Love. “Be Holy, for I am Holy,”
says the Father (1 Pet 1:16). “Then God said, Let Us make man in
Our image (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) according to Our likeness”
(Gen 1:26). </span></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">To
man Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John
15:12). And God sent Jesus to redeem you and to cover your sin, to
teach you how to love. When you turn to him, he forgives your sins
perfectly, he forgets perfectly, and he cleans your sins perfectly. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Put
on the Savior Jesus in your body, mind, heart, and spirit as a cloak
to stand before the all Holy God. He calls you to dwell constantly in
his Holiness and Love. That's how God regards you. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Simply
stated, God is perfect Light, Love, and Holiness.</b> He can not sin.
Justice is one of his perfections. As Master of all Creation, he is
also the Healer. Jesus came to show us the Way to God, the Truth
about God, and Life with God. God is divinely three persons in One
God. He created Creation from Love. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">(To
understand One God as Three Persons in the Trinity, Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit, look at this number “123”. It's one number composed
of three digits with different values or functions.)</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Satan,
with his demons, is a rebellious angel who absolutely hates and
deceives. He is the father of evil and lies. He comes to steal, kill,
and destroy. People often blame this work on the Holy God. God is
Never the author of evil. Followers of Jesus can defeat the attacks
of the devils with warrior angels to help. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> God
gives us the gift of free will to choose between good and evil, but
not without eternal consequences. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>It is
certain, when wicked men </b>steal, abuse, kill, and destroy the Master
Artist's creation, this evil arouses God's Wrath. Perfect Justice
demands just punishment. Rebellion against the Eternal God and his
instruction demands eternal punishment, itself. False gods, false
doctrines, false priests, man's deceit and lies are no excuse against
the Holy Divine Spirit of Truth or even his instilled truth in man's
internal conscience. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> As Jesus the Messiah warns, the wicked are
sentenced to “where the worm does not die and the fire is not
quenched.” This is the lot of Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tze-Tung, and any
unrepentant authors of rebellion, great or less, against the Creator.
</span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>To
activate God's flowing Love, </b>Man keys his mind with Faith, receives
Divine Love into the chambers of his heart, and disperses it to the
two-fold being of his body and spirit. Love is not just a
manifestation of God; Love is the essence in the Divine Trinity. “God
is Love.” </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It
is also termed God's Presence, God's Grace or Favor, the Anointing of
the Spirit, his Healing Power, or his Life Force. All in reality is
God's Love. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">God
creates and sustains by his Love. His Love is the Gift of Life in
man's body and spirit. Man's body contains some 80-100 trillion
cells, each more complicated than a computer as seen under a high
power electron microscope. The known Universe contains some 100
Billion Galaxies. All by God's Love. Conclusion: learn to pray and to
love. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Why
does God completely reject unforgiveness?</b> Entrance to Heaven is
locked from unforgiveness. (NKJV Mt 6:15) "But if you do not
forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses.” Imagine the putrid stink of a skunk; it is gagging.
God will not admit such a smell into his House! </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Conversely,
there is an aromatic perfume dominating Heaven. (Eph 5:1-2)
“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love,
as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and
a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.” </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">To
the Holy God, we are in our witness to Jesus His Son the sweetest
smell existing. (2 Co 2:15) “For we are to God the fragrance of
Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are
perishing.” </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">At
one time, I smelled such an overwhelming perfume, I went to the door
in my hallway to find the, I thought, “feminine” source of such
beauty. No one was there! Returning to my desk, I now discovered the
aroma stopped and started as I closed and opened my Bible! It was
indeed the “fragrance of Christ,” the WORD. </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>A
disciple must first give up everything.</i></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>The
secret </b>of following Christ the Messiah is ignored by many. For the
servant of God, there is only one agenda. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The thing a disciple must
do is give up every thing.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(NKJV
all scriptures, Lu 14:33) "So likewise, whoever of you does not
forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” </i></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">2)
Repent. There are those who think achieving Heaven is a piece of
cake. At the end of life, they surmise, God will simply forgive them.
But there is no salvation without heartfelt repentance. I have seen
it. Most people die the way they have lived. People choose their
destiny, heaven or hell, by the way they live. Every day the choice
is made. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Lu
13:3) "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all
likewise perish.”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<b><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">3)
Humble. God desires servants contrite of sin and humble in spirit. </span></b></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Humble is not weakness but a strength which seeks the benefit of
others. “No greater love has anyone, than to lay down his life for
another.”</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Isa
57:15) For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With
him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the
humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">4)
Forgive. Men little realize the Hebrew in the Lord's Prayer requires
the forgiveness of every-little-offense, no matter how small, to
merit God's forgiveness. The All Holy God will not stand in the
presence of sin. Total redemption is achieved only by the cross of
Jesus. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Mt
6:14) "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you. 15 "But if you do not forgive men
their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<b><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">5)
Love. Don't make Love your pretense. </span></b>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Be the
most loving person your friends know. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Every
true hug brings healing in the heart. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Every
good deed pays forward. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">God
created you to love Him and others. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">All
his Words teach his Love. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">God
does not give Love, He is Love.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It's
his very Being.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Jesus
first loves you, so you'll know Love. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Lu
10:27) So he answered and said," 'You shall love the LORD your
God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength,
and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.'"</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">6)
Faith is the key to involving God. You cannot please God without
Faith.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Mt
17:20) So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for
assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you
will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there!' and it will
move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">7)
Holy. We achieve holiness only through redemption of Jesus on that
cross. I am bought, paid for, ransomed, and redeemed only through the
Blood of Jesus. He alone is the sinless sacrifice for all repented
sin. Put on Christ. He alone is perfectly sinless. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Heb
12:14) Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no
one will see the Lord. </i></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>8)
Each day, put on Jesus like a garment. </b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b> </b>Walk as Jesus walked. Love as
Jesus loves. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(1Jo
1:7) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanses us from all sin.</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">9)
Live for God. Where is God's true servant? Take up God's daily cross,
tasks, and assignments, even to the point of death.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>(Lu

They're stoning Religious Freedoms in
America. How disheartened I am as a descendant of early Colonial
pastors. Our nation was dedicated to God in Virginia by Rev. Robert
Hunt and hallowed by the prayers of Pilgrims on the Mayflower or
sanctified by the work of my own ancestral Puritans like Rev. William
Witherell of Massachusetts and many others. Now I grieve as
Christianity and Jewish foundations and, indeed, religious tolerance
everywhere, so interwoven in our foundations, is under attack by
those who have no regard for our American Freedoms.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
This attempt at obliteration is
strikingly surveyed by Todd Starnes in his book GOD LESS AMERICA as
he surveys the current War on Christianity through the alleged
administration's affiliations with Worldwide Muslim Jihad and
Atheistic Socialistic-Communism so seen in our daily news. The
hostile proponents do not know or respect America and its
foundational freedoms and are actively determined to destroy them
along with those who ignorantly ignore so great a heritage. Also
ignorant, are those so calloused they will not stand and can not
stand to protect her. Every political, civic, educational,
religious, commercial, community leader, or citizen should read this
book. Or lose full scale through this dumbing of America.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Hundreds of documented examples are
illustrated. The book initially mentions the firing of a North
Carolina State House Honorary Chaplain for mentioning the name of
Jesus in prayer. Senior citizens in Fort Wentworth, Georgia,
forbidden to pray over their meals. A federal judge orders the
prohibition of prayer at the Medina Valley Independent School
District graduation in Texas. An eight year old school boy in
Massachusetts is ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation after he
drew a picture of Jesus on the cross. A professor is rejected from
working at the university observatory by the University of Kentucky
because he is a Christian. Bibles are banned from Walter Reed Medical
Center. A New York public school teacher is ordered to remove
inspirational Bible quotes from her classroom, and a quote by
President Ronald Reagan. This quote read, “I we ever forget that we
are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Delegates to the 2012 Democratic
Convention voted God off the party platform. When authorities ordered
him written back for the sake of public relations, the delegates
booed God. A secret move was started later by Obama Democrats,
termed GOD, said Miles O'Leary of Obama's Office of Theological
Repatriation, “It stands for Get Obama Deified.” The task is the
process of destabilizing other religions, to marginalize Christianity
in the Armed Forces and the public schools. Obama signed the
executive order declaring himself to be Lord and Savior. About two
minutes later, a small earthquake shook Washington D.C. Miles said
screenwriters are employed to write “The Gospel According to
Barack.” The Family Research Council and the
Liberty Institute have each documented 600 stories of religious
hostility, some used by Todd Starnes in writing this packed
reference.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
How do I see the roots of this attack?
A negligent or abusive father causes lack of respect in the home,
rebellion against authority, contempt for society, despite for
heritage and culture, denial of the rights and freedoms of others,
and unbelief in God--other than a narcissistic isolating power love
of one's self.</div>

of the churning black hole in the cosmos, the bottomless pit. I
watched men and women sucked screaming into its infinite depths with
no hope of return. I saw the terrifying entrance to death in hell.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">

tender love. </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">No,

heart in tone. I'll never forget his most loving sound. </span>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I
have some things I want you to do,” he said. I had accepted Jesus
intentionally as my Lord and Savior at Baptism when I was five years
old. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Weeks
later,</b> at the children's hospital, two medical interns proceeded to
cut my full-leg cast off my surgically corrected clubfoot. This
caused the worst pain I experienced over my one to nine years in
periodic casts and night braces. The power saw felt like it was
actually cutting through my leg with its round sharp blade. I really
felt so. Tears ran down my cheeks and my teeth grit. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">My Dad
trained me to offer my pain to Jesus on the Cross. This time, it was
beyond bearing. </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>That's
when</b> the stormy gray clouds parted, and Jesus revealed himself clearly in
full color to me hanging on the Cross, crucified. He suffered
horribly, beyond belief, pain in his hands and feet. Pain, in his
head and whole being. The flow of my tender tears increased in my own
heart for him. His head appeared massively swollen, and gray with
blood-drained color. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">At the
height of pain, he slowly turned his face toward me and smiled! His
whole being soaked with love. The clouds closed and the vision
disappeared.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I told
the medical interns what I had just seen. One intern tried to offer
me a lollipop. I refused. The other intern switched off the power saw
and finished removing the cast with a painless hand saw. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I
believe what he said, he saw,” the intern spoke deep voiced to the
other. </span>

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>Believers
forget their eternal future. </b>Or, they at least take it for granted.
Rarely, almost never, do we hear others conjecturing about Heaven.
Yet, we are told it is important to keep our life's goals in sight. I
suspect many barely believe in Heaven, and many know so little they
don't venture to think about the unknown. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">We know
scripture tells much and implies more. Those who have died, visited,
and returned, can tell us what they remember. I find it wise to
notice what is most common in various witness reports. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Heaven
is our eternal home in the presence of God, what is termed the
Beatific Vision. All light emanates from the throne of God himself.
God is Light. God is Love. “Be holy for I am Holy,” says the
Lord. “Without holiness, no one can see the Lord.” The Father
does not stand in the presence of sin. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">We are
in the eternal Heaven for one reason. Jesus the Messiah gave himself
as the divine sacrifice of perfect love for the sins of mankind, for
all those who believe in him. Or, innocents who died as blood
martyrs, I might add, for instance aborted babies. Or, innocent
persons, the Epistle to Romans implies, without sin, those determined
by God. Otherwise, unrepentant sin against the Creator is the reason
for condemnation to hell. I know one thing, those who rebel against
the Creator, freely choose hell. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">In
Heaven, you are not a nameless or an ambiguous spirit. You keep your
personal identity. Jesus, Moses, and Elijah appeared together on the
mountain of the Transfiguration. Jesus appeared several times after
his Resurrection, and believers always related to him. In Heaven you
recognize your family, your relatives, your friends, likely anyone,
according to visionaries.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">People
will be in their perfect glorified bodies, no disabilities, no
eyeglasses. I believe Jesus will be the first to greet and welcome
us. I told my wife I will then dance joyfully with her in a great
field of flowers at the foot of a magnificent mountain range, no
longer with my disabled foot. I've seen this in my dreams many times.
</span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Glorified
bodies in heart, body, mind, and spirit! We will not be just blobs of
invisible spiritual cloud floating around. Think of Jesus as he
appeared to the apostles in the upper room and ate with them. He was
in his glorified, risen body. The only wounds in Heaven will be his,
our license to the Presence the Ancient of Days. In our glorified
bodies, heart, mind, body, and spirit, we will truly function. How
will God use us in Paradise? </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Just
conjecturing. Since we keep our identity and person-hood, might he
not use us in goodly ways he used us on earth? The use of singers,
musicians, teachers, might be easy to perceive. But what about
writers, builders, cooks, artists, painters? Maybe, some of us will
need retraining! I know one thing for certain. God has no problem. He
said he has a place for you, already prepared. </span>

Vision in the night. Angel or demon?
Clearly seen, tall through the ceiling, at foot of my bed. Total Pax.
Could be an angel. Then, I saw the beard and his dark wavy hair, no
it's him. In mystical light like a haze, He held two great broad
swords in big strong hands pointed east and west. The giant swords
shone in the room's real light. “He is here,” announced a voice.
“I am here,” said the Warrior King who stood so tall. His
spiritual gown of many folds waved softly. Very still, he stood in
majesty, but full of Life and Presence. His mighty Protection powered
over my wife and me. “Now I know he's coming,” I said, and turned
over in peace. I glanced back. He stood there, mighty. I cannot
otherwise account or explain this. 2-15-2014

all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity;
Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you
I will make a prey.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Across
the world, man's inhumanity to man will recoil on his own head. Gods
expresses his perfect justice in the ancient book of Job. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(Job
18:5-10 NKJV) The light of the wicked indeed goes out, And the flame
of his fire does not shine. The light is dark in his tent, And his
lamp beside him is put out. The steps of his strength are shortened,
And his own counsel casts him down. For he is cast into a net by his
own feet, And he walks into a snare. The net takes him by the heel,
And a snare lays hold of him. A noose is hidden for him on the
ground, And a trap for him in the road. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Turmoil
will in return strike those who are cruel to others. Those, who chose
not to heed the second great commandment to regard others as
themselves. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(Job
18:11-21 NKJV) Terrors frighten him on every side, And drive him to
his feet. His strength is starved, And destruction is ready at his
side. It devours patches of his skin; The firstborn of death devours
his limbs. He is uprooted from the shelter of his tent, And they
parade him before the king of terrors. They dwell in his tent who are
none of his; Brimstone is scattered on his dwelling. His roots are
dried out below, And his branch withers above. The memory of him
perishes from the earth, And he has no name among the renowned. He is
driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world. He has
neither son nor posterity among his people, Nor any remaining in his
dwellings. Those in the west are astonished at his day, As those in
the east are frightened. Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked,
And this is the place of him who does not know God.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">God sees
evil men as bullys who devour others as with the ease they would
consume a loaf of bread. Such are those as wicked leaders,
politicians, judges, enforcers, criminals, murderers, slanderers,
the angry, sexually immoral, spouse abusers, abortionists, all those
who fail to exercise moral responsibility and who abuse others. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(Ps 14:4
NKJVV) Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my
people as they eat bread, And do not call on the LORD? There they are
in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous. You
shame the counsel of the poor, But the LORD is his refuge.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Scripture
warns humanity there is worldwide day of God's judgment coming
against all those who rebelled against him. I see that men choose
judgment individually long before they come before the throne. There
will be a worldwide rapture for the godly, an end-all battle against
the evil, and a divine feast for the holy welcomed by the King. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(Zep
1:14-18 NKJV) The great day of the LORD is near; It is near and
hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter; There
the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, A day of
trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of
darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of
trumpet and alarm Against the fortified cities And against the high
towers. "I will bring distress upon men, And they shall walk
like blind men, Because they have sinned against the LORD; Their
blood shall be poured out like dust, And their flesh like refuse."
Neither their silver nor their gold Shall be able to deliver them In
the day of the LORD'S wrath; But the whole land shall be devoured By
the fire of His jealousy, For He will make speedy riddance Of all
those who dwell in the land.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">And
Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, will draw his people in the kingdoms of the
earth before the throne to serve him. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(Zep
3:8-9 NKJ) "Therefore wait for Me," says the LORD, "Until
the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the
nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation,
All my fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of
My jealousy. "For then I will restore to the peoples a pure
language, That they all may call on the name of the LORD, To serve
Him with one accord.”</span></div>

Nearly
twice as many Christians died for their faith in the past year than
in 2012, according to Open Doors International’s 2014 World Watch
List.</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Open
Doors International, a charity that supports Christians under
pressure for their faith, said 2,123 Christians were reported to have
been killed during the 12 months ending Oct. 31, 2012. That compares
to 1,201 during the previous 12 months. During the most recent
period, more Christians were killed in Syria alone than were killed
globally in the previous year.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The
World Watch List, which annually monitors the media worldwide for all
reported incidents, emphasizes that this is the “very, very
minimum” count – only those who have been documented as killed.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Estimates
of the total number killed range from around 7,000 or 8,000,
according to the International Institute for Religious Freedom’s
Thomas Schirrmacher, to the lofty 100,000 estimate of the Center for
the Study of Global Christianity.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Beyond
those killed, the World Watch List recommends that three more
categories of Christians should be considered: Christians whose death
is never reported; Christians killed due to increased vulnerability,
such as those in conflict areas; and Christians who die due to
long-term discrimination.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Taking
these into account, as well as those whose deaths are reported by the
media, the World Watch List suggests Schirrmacher’s estimation is
roughly accurate, although the figure may be higher still.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span lang="en-US">Christians
aren’t always directly killed, but are so much squeezed with
regulations and vulnerabilities that they just perish – not at
once, but in the course of years. If we would include them in the
counting, it would be an enormous number of people. However, the
precise number of Christians who die due to these factors is very
difficult to quantify,” according to the World Watch List.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Not
surprisingly, Syria heads the list of the countries in which the most
Christians were killed for their faith (1,213), followed by Nigeria
(612), Pakistan (88) and Egypt (83).</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Of
the top 10, six are in Africa – with Kenya (20), Angola (16), Niger
(15) and the Central African Republic (9) joining Nigeria and Egypt
on the list.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The
World Watch List states that the number of Christians killed in the
Central African Republic is especially likely to have been
under-reported because “most analysts still failed to recognize the
religious dimension of the conflict”. The list says the same is
true of North Korea, where “it is extremely difficult to get public
information”.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Beyond
the number of Christians killed, the World Watch List focuses upon
other instances of violence, including: physical aggression; threats;
the destruction of churches or other Christian buildings; attempts to
destroy churches or Christian buildings; the closure of churches or
Christian buildings; house expulsion or destruction; kidnap for
ransom or intimidation; sexual assault; arrests; and displacement.</span></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div lang="en-US" style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Considering
only the sum of violent incidents recorded, Egypt (167) tops the
list, followed by India (125) and Nigeria (118).</span></div>

<b>Are
you a night owl? </b>When I was in my teens, staying up all night was a
neat experience. I listened to the radio, talked to girlfriends on
the phone and most importantly, talked to my future husband. He was
spinning platters as an all night disc jockey at my favorite radio
station. Night watchmen have a different incentive than I had for
being awake until dawn; it was required. <br />
<br />
Long ago, a group of
Bethlehem shepherds was watching over their flocks at night. Even
now, I consider them highly respected night watchmen who heralded a
message. They could have merely listened to the angels' special
delivery message and kept it to themselves. Instead, they verified it
personally and became the first to share the story of Jesus' birth.
<br />
<br />
"When the angels went away from them back into heaven,
the shepherds said to one another, 'Let's go to Bethlehem and see
this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us.' So they
hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and saw the baby lying in the
manger (<a href="http://biblia.com/bible/esv/Luke%202.15-16" target="_blank">Luke
2:15-16</a> TEV)." They were compelled to carry the
gospel.<br />
<br />
"When the shepherds saw him, they told them what
the angel had said about the child. All who heard it were amazed at
what the shepherds said (<a href="http://biblia.com/bible/esv/Luke%202.%2017-18" target="_blank">Luke
2: 17-18</a> TEV)." Imagine the shepherds' emotional faith
response. Shepherds who were serving faithfully as night watchmen
became God's spokesmen!<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>If Faith
is the key to dealing with God,</b> very few put the key in the lock and
turn it. One of the great gifts we can give a person is not the
substance he is begging for but the knowledge of where to find his
Provider. That, he can use over and over again, and it will give
power to his spiritual walk. </span>

</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">And we

disclosure of the appalling legal and social situation for women

<span style="color: #0c0c0c;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">The
premise of Gilbert’s research is that violence experienced by
Christian women living in these countries can only be properly
understood within a general context of deep-seated prejudice and
aggression against women. This
prejudice stems from Islamic beliefs regarding the supposedly
dangerous nature of female sexuality, and the roots of these beliefs
are briefly detailed along with their implications. </span></span></span></div>

<span style="color: #0c0c0c;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><i>Of
note is the continued assumption in these societies that females are
responsible for any sexual attack they experience. The result is that
shame clings to the victim following an assault and some victims are
even stoned. Gilbert
argues that in the context of societies where women are defined as
being of little worth and are shockingly vulnerable, it is not
surprising that Christian women are the targets of even greater
endemic violence as a means of driving out or neutralizing Christian
communities. </i></span></span></span></div>

<span style="color: #0c0c0c;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Nine
common forms of abuse perpetrated against Christian women in this
strategic intent are elaborated. A number of specific cases from
Pakistan and Egypt follow, which illustrate gender-based violence as
a deliberate means of destroying Christian families. </span></span></span></div>

<span style="color: #0c0c0c;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">This
report also expresses a frustration at the lack of data available in
order to fully study the scope of the problem and explains why it is
so difficult to obtain reliable statistics. Perhaps
because of this dearth of complete information, Gilbert takes great
pains to address arguments which attempt to discount reports of
Christian persecution in Muslim lands. </span></span></span>

<br />
<b><i>President’s State of Emergency decree fails to stop murder of Borno State CAN Secretary.<br />By Lekan Otufodunrin</i></b> <br />
<br />
<b>(<a href="http://worldwatchmonitor.org/">World Watch Monitor.org</a>, May, 17, 2013)</b> Borno State in Northern Nigeria has been teetering on the brink of a takeover by Islamist militant group Boko Haram, warned its Governor, Kassim Shettima, a few days before the declaration by President Goodluck Jonathan of a “state of emergency” in Borno and two neighbouring provinces. <br />
<br />
The President’s declaration on Tuesday (May 14), which also applies to Yobe and Adamawa States in the country’s troubled North East region, was followed shortly after by the murder of the Secretary in Borno of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev Faye Pama Musa.<br />
<br />
<b>Musa, head of REME Assembly in Maiduguri (the Borno State capital) and Chairman of the state’s Pentecostal Fellowship, was reportedly shot at close range by two suspected Boko Haram members in his house, in the presence of his daughter, who pleaded with them to spare her father’s life.</b><br />
A few days before, Borno's Governor Kassim Shettima had briefed visiting Senators and military advisers in a confidential security meeting on May 7, and warned them Boko Haram was close to seizing power in the state. <br />
<br />
Shettima also said: “Underneath the mayhem of Boko Haram, beneath the madness lies the underlying cause, which is extreme poverty and destitution which have permeated all spectrums of our society.<br />
<br />
<b>“Only and until we address some of these issues, believe me, the future is very bleak for all of us as the current crisis is just an appetizer of things to come. Very soon the youths of this country will be chasing us away.” </b><br />
Reuters quoted Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi as saying: "What the governor said was frightening. He informed us there is a possibility that this state will be taken over by Boko Haram ... that they have the ability to do whatever they wanted here. I had thought Boko Haram had been subdued to some extent." <br />
<br />
On May 14, CAN Chairman in the state, Reverend Titus Pona, who confirmed Musa’s death, said the Christian community in the state capital last week received a death threat from an unknown group to kill or kidnap a pastor, but it was dismissed.<br />
<br />
“We never thought that the rumour could turn out to be true, and we’d told the Governor that our area was safe,” Pona told reporters in Maiduguri.<br />
<br />
<b>“Of course, there were no killings around this area before and where I am living has also been seen as safe, until they started killing people again. It is very unfortunate that they came to attack an innocent man.</b><br />
“Our prayer and hope is that the amnesty declared by the President would help to fish out [those responsible] and bring them to justice for the innocent lives they have taken.” <br />
<br />
The Governor promised in a condolence message to CAN that the perpetrators would be brought to justice and that Musa’s family would be provided for.<br />
<br />
The National President of CAN, Ayo Oritsejafor, and Rev Felix Omobude of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, condemned Musa’s murder and called for improved security following Shettima’s admission that Boko Haram were on the verge of seizing control of the state.<br />
<br />
Oritsejafor called for the dissolution of the committee created by the federal government to negotiate with Boko Haram and other violent groups in the country, saying “no reasonable agreements can be reached with terrorists”.<br />
<br />
President Jonathan announced controversially last month that an amnesty was being considered with Boko Haram. Christian organizations and leaders responded almost universally negatively to this idea.<br />
<br />
<b>"Why should they be given amnesty?” said Rev. Joshua Ray Mains, Bauchi State Secretary. “Are we congratulating them for the people they have sent to their early graves, or are we encouraging them to continue with their acts so that other groups can take advantage of the amnesty and continue to disrupt the peace of the country?"</b><br />
However, Bishop Matthew Kukah, head of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, supported the amnesty, saying in his Easter message it would bring the country closer to a new dawn.<br />
<br />
“To reject amnesty is to place oneself at the same level as these miscreants,” he said. “An offer of amnesty is not the same as a declaration of amnesty. An offer of amnesty brings the penitent to the table as a first step. Amnesty is a process, not a destination. The offer of amnesty will not solve all our problems, but it will bring us closer to a new dawn.”<br />
<br />
The declaration of emergency across the three states, and the resulting mass deployment of military has been welcomed by many groups in the country.<br />
<br />
However, the Progressive Governors’ Forum had earlier “implored Mr. President to be consistent with the combination of dialogue and mediation which he has already set in motion, and [hold back from] action on the planned declaration of State of Emergency in the affected states, which we believe would be counter-productive”.<br />
<br />
end<br />
<br />
<b><i>Question: Should a nation fight to defend itself?<br />How many times in Biblical or modern history did<br />God help Israel fight her enemies? Nigeria. </i></b><br />

ANA, Calif. (April 23, 2013) –</b> Islamist extremists want Iraq to be
a “Muslim only” country. As a result, Christians in Iraq remain
continuous targets of violent attacks.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Each
month Open Doors field workers receive sad phone calls and emails of
Christian acquaintances who report attacks against the Christians
near them. While most of them are part of the general violence, such
as bomb attacks and mortar fire which intensified during provincial
elections last Saturday, a part of the violence can be labeled as
specifically targeted against Christians. </span></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">If
these attacks take place in a Christian neighborhood or a Christian
village, you can assume they are targeted, especially against the
Christian population of the neighborhoods and villages,” said an
Open Doors field worker. “Since the fall of Saddam Hussein 10 years
ago, an estimated 1,000 Christians have been killed, a relatively
high number compared with percentages killed from other groups in
Iraqi society.”</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">A
Christian in Mosul was the target of two attacks in one week last
March. After the first bomb exploded in his house on a Wednesday, a
second one was thrown over his fence on Sunday. The Christian saw two
young men running away. The second bomb, wrapped in a black bag and a
women’s t-shirt, was deactivated by a military engineering team.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">In
early April, Adbuljabar Khidher Toza, another Christian from Mosul,
wasn’t so fortunate. Armed men shot him to death in front of his
house.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">All

“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">We
received documents and threats stating that the aim of the Islamist
Insurgents is to make Iraq a ‘Muslim only’ country; they want the
Christians out.” </span></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Louis
Raphael Sako, the newly-elected Chaldean Catholic patriarch of Iraq
and Syria, says he is afraid of what Islamist rule would mean for
Christians. “People are afraid of a kind of Islamic state as it was
in the seventh century where Christians would be considered
second-class citizens,” he said.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">According
to Open Doors’ 2013 World Watch List materials, there are only an
estimated 330,000 to 350,000 Christians left in Iraq. There were more
than 1.2 million Christians in the early 1990’s. Many of the
believers have fled to Jordan and Lebanon or to the northern Kurdish
region of Iraq. Iraq is ranked No. 4 on the list of the worst
persecutors around the globe. </span></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Sako
urges Christians to stay: “We must stay. This is our history. This
is our cultural heritage. When we leave, everything will leave with
us.”</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0.14in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Jerry
Dykstra, a spokesman for Open Doors USA, adds that “since the start
of war in Iraq 10 years ago, the situation for Christians has
deteriorated each year. Christians have faced church attacks,
kidnappings, threats and death for their faith. They have no faith in
the government providing security for them. Please keep Iraqi
Christians in your prayers. Many feel they are alone and forgotten.”</span></span></div>

<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>The
Cross and the Crescent (excerpt):</b> For all kinds of reasons,
evangelizing the Islamic world presents a tough challenge. But it is
no more impossible than evangelizing the Roman world was for the
first disciples. The apostle Peter tells us that evangelism is the
main reason for the establishment of the Church (1 Peter 2:9-10). A
glance at the book of Acts will show that the early believers
evangelized fearlessly (Acts 2:8, 4:20,29; 8:4, 13:1-4). Every
Christian sharing in the Lord's Supper is reminded that <i>“as
often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the
Lord's death till He comes” (1 Cor 11:26). </i></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">God
never orders the impossible. When he commands the Church to
evangelize to the ends the earth, He equips believers with what it
takes to obey. This is why He must be obeyed without reservation. You
cannot call Him “Lord,” and say “no” to Him. The Lord does
not take a “no” from His followers; to call God “Lord” and
then say “no” to Him is a contradiction in terms. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">When the
Lord orders, He empowers His people to obey.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><i>Who
ever goes to War at his own expense?”</i> asked Paul in 1
Corinthians 9:7. What is more, when we obey Him, He guarantees the
results. He is always on the throne. Before Jesus delegated his
disciples to witness for Him, He told them, <i>“All authority has
been given to me in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18).</i> To
those who obey and go, He says, <i>“I am with you always, even to
the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Also,
remember that you are not the one doing the conversion work. You are
sowing the seed of the word of God. In the parable Jesus told in
Matthew 13:1-9, nobody asked the sower to check if the ground was
good or thorny or stony. His job was to scatter grain. In the same
way, the conversion of the heart is something only the Holy Spirit
can accomplish. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Paul had
no delusions about this. He asked the Corinthians,<i> “What, after
all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you
come to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I
planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So
neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God,
who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have
one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building”
(1 Corinthians 3:5-9). </i></span>

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">According to underground

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">We are to meet the

summarized a Christian leader about the message the North Korean
people recently received from the “high command.”</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The military army,
navy, air force troops, strategic rocket troops, the red guards and
the red youth guards are already in combat mode. Urgent meetings are
being held everywhere, regardless if it is day or night. At those
meetings, officials make decisions on what needs to happen in case
war breaks out and everyone, including women, needs to be combat
ready.”</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">According to Open Doors
sources, many cars on the roads are covered with camouflage nets.
Also, soldiers are wearing hats with camouflage dried branches and
carry guns. North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un released a statement to
his people, saying that “If war breaks out because of the actions
of the U.S. and puppet South Korea’s unpardonable behavior, they
will end up with a disgraceful downfall, and our people will greet a
brilliant new day of reunification. The day has come to show off the
power of ‘Military First’ and our great nation to the whole
world.”</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">However, Christians and

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">I would like to thank

desperate hope and passionate desire will some day bear many fruit.
No matter how difficult life is for us, we never blame or complain
about our circumstances. God has promised us in the Bible that if we

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>"You

Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the

</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>Lack of
doctrinal knowledge</b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Most
Christians do not know how to explain their faith to non-believers.
They have received the salvation of Christ, but they cannot defend
their basic creeds. According to the apostle Peter, we should always
be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks us a reason for the
hope that is in us. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Yet,
most Christians could neither answer a Muslim's questions, nor refute
a Muslim's attacks against basic Christian doctrines. They haven't
even got to grips with Muslim vocabulary. How many Christians, for
example, know that Muslims refer to the Holy Spirit as the angel
Jibril (Gabriel)? </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
“<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>But
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a
defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in
you, with meekness and fear” (1Peter 3:15 NKJV).</i></span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>Lack
of faith in God </b></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Most
Christians simply do not believe that God will save Muslims. Many
Christian ministers in Muslim countries have not seen a single Muslim
come to Christ. At the same time, they have probably seen hundreds of
Christians converting to Islam. Jesus Christ has full authority in
heaven and on earth-and the Christian evangelist should never lose
sight of that fact. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>And
Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been
given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things
that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the age." Amen. (Matt 28:18 NKJV).</i></span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>Lack
of security in a Muslim state </b></span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Christians
refuse to witness to Muslims because they fear persecution. Some of
the Muslims who ask Christians to explain Christianity to them are
spies for the police or for fundamentalist Muslim groups. The
reluctance of Christians to welcome new converts makes those converts
more likely to backslide to Islam under pressure from family and
friends, after which the backsliders may report Christian activities
to the authorities. </span>

houses and possessions unprotected.<br /><br />The charged group gathered

the accused Savan, alias Bubby. The mob attacked Savan’s house,

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><i><b>(The
Cross and the Crescent)</b></i> Muslims can understand as little about
Christianity as many Christians understand about Islam. Yet both are
evangelistic religions. Christianity practices evangelism, and
proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ. Islam practices <i>Da'wa</i>
(a Call) inviting all to accept its faith. Against such a background,
the message... can be summed up in a single statement: </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><i>That
if God calls us to evangelize the Muslim world, He will give us
everything we need to do it successfully. For God never orders us to
do the impossible.</i> </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">To start
with, though, we need to ask what difficulties underlie the task of
evangelizing Muslims, and why it is that many Christians have
effectively “given up” the challenge. I suggest there are two
factors at work. These have to do, first, with the weakness of the
Church, and second, with the resistance of Islam. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>1. Lack
of obedience to the Great Commission</b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">The
greatest impediment to the evangelizing of Muslims lies in the
Christian Church. A weak and lukewarm Church neglects its first duty,
which is missions. Divided believers have much time to fight—and no
time to witness. Many congregations are self-satisfied. They prefer
the cozy atmosphere of their closed fellowships to the challenge of
going out to reach the lost. The result is that believers “lose
touch” with the surrounding world. They actually drive sinners away
because nobody wants to be like them. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><i>By
contrast, the Spirit-filled and Spirit-obeying believer witnesses to
God's saving power, and thus leads others to know Christ as personal
Savior.</i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><b>2.
Lack of confidence in the Christian faith</b></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">In
almost all countries where Christians are a minority, they exhibit a
lack of confidence, both in themselves and in what they believe. The
act like the ten spies who returned to Moses from Canaan and declared
that the proposed invasion should be called off (Num 13:28-33). </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">In
Muslim states, this behavior is reinforced by social attitudes dating
back to the seventh century Covenant of Umar. A major purpose of the
Covenant was to protect the life and property of
non-Muslims—particularly Christians and Jews—who were resident in
Muslim countries. But it did so on strict conditions. First, that
Christians put no obstacles in the way of a fellow Christian who
desired to become a Muslim. And second, that Christians make no
attempt to convert Muslims to Christianity. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Caliph
Umar ibn al-Khattab used the Covenant to consolidate his conquests.
He would present it to Christians in subject territories and demand
they sign....</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Centuries
later, the terms of the Covenant remain deeply embedded in the way
Christian and Muslim communities relate in Islamic nations. </span>
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><i>Against
this background, it is important for Christian minorities in Muslim
countries to know what is expected of them. They should be a creative
minority—the salt of the earth, the light of the world, and the
leaven that leavens the whole lump (Matt 5:13,14; 13:33).</i></span></div>

<span style="color: #262626;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Some
government officials drew a link from the case of Barkat Masih to the
much more widely covered case of Rimsha Masih, an Islamabad girl
arrested in August on charges that she burned some pages of an
Islamic text. The courts threw out the case when police provided
evidence the burned pages were planted on the girl by a local Imam.</span></span></div>
