Thomas Jefferson Stated His Faith

A true Statesman is a politician of integrity, a cut above the rest, beyond the tongues of those who smear him.

In the thick of party conflict in 1800, Thomas Jefferson wrote in a private letter, "I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." <http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/presidents/thomasjefferson>

Thomas Jefferson

SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; DIPLOMAT; GOVERNOR OF VIRGINIA; SECRETARY OF STATE; THIRD PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend all to the happiness of man.64

The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses.65

I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be: sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.66

I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.67

Voluntarily, I recommend, learn the truth about Thomas Jefferson. Don't miss David Barton's new book.
The Jefferson Lies: Exposing the Myths You've Always Believed About Thomas Jefferson (Hardback from Wall Builders).

Today, we are besieged by a leader who falsely leads, whose every word is a contradiction in turn, whose plots are secret and deceptive. Who was raised as a Muslim in a strong Communist family. Whose political philosophy originated in satanic worship (per the book Marx & Satan by Richard Wurmbrand) <www.VOMbooks.com>, and who has the ultimate goal of socialistic tyranny and destruction.

Today, more than ever, we need to look to leaders who believe in American Freedom, including worship and work, as outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Leaders, who dare to stand for right, who speak forthrightly, who do not change to meet prevailing political correctness, who have solid integrity, and are men and women of God.

Sudan Christian Loses Wife and Children

Faith in Christ leads judge to annul marriage, forbid seeing kids.

KHARTOUM, Sudan, June 19 (Compass Direct News) - A year ago Mohammed Khidir Khalil was glad his family had obtained refugee status in Egypt after fleeing Islamic hostilities in Sudan. The 38-year-old Christian was also heartened that his formerly unbelieving wife was attending church with him.

Today the convert from Islam is back in Sudan fighting to recover his family after his in-laws compelled his wife to return to Sudan, claiming she was Muslim and divorce him. A Sudanese court automatically granted her custody of their two sons and forbade him to see them, he said.

The couple had fled Sudan just before the South Sudan vote for independence on Jan. 9, 2011, after threats from the couples' Muslim families and others intensified, Khalil said. He fears that if he persists in his legal battle, he faces the threat of being accused of "apostasy," or leaving Islam.

In spite of the court's ruling that Khalil did not have a right to even visit the children, in April he decided to try to see them. His former wife's family threatened to call police if he persisted.

"I am very upset with courts like this that bar one from seeing one's children," he said. "I have to appeal against this.

"They might take the case to a prosecution court, which might lead to my sentencing to death according to Islamic apostasy law - but I am ready for this," Khalil said. "I want the world to know this. What crime have I done? Is it because I became a Christian? I know if the world is watching, they will be afraid to do any harm to me."

GOD's Angels are with us

GOD's Angels protect us, warn us, and inform us.

Angels (ChristiansUnite.com)

The Mysterious Stranger

In Pakistan, after I had carelessly encountered a snake charmer's black cobra face to face with my camera and prayed to escape with my life, I stood up, safe. At that moment, a handsome Pakistani in his thirties stepped forward and spoke to me.
"Are you married, Sahib?"
"Am I married?  No!"
I wondered what he wanted.

"Do you have a photograph of your lady friend, right now?" he asked. So I reluctantly pulled out a wallet portrait.
"This girl is not the girl you will marry!" he stated.
"No, the girl you will marry has brown hair like this one, but she is taller. In fact, you have already met her. Where does this one live?"
"On Long Island, New York," I said.

"The girl you will marry does not live there," he said.  "She lives up, further north."
"My parents live in Maine." I tested him by giving leading information.
"No, she is not from Maine," he said. "Where have you just come from?"
 "Upstate New York."
"Yes!" he said, "she is there.
“You have already seen her. She lives there, way up, in Upstate New York, farther north. That is the woman you will marry, but not this one, Sahib.” I offered rupees to test him.

“No Sahib! Not rupees. I just wanted you to know."

I had no idea who this man was, or whether I should consider anything he said. He did not seem ominous.
I looked down at the snake charmer and raised my head again to look at the stranger. He wasn't there! He had vanished!

A year later, I met the girl he described in the place he foretold. He spoke a true word. She would, indeed, become my wife. But that's another story.

Angel in the Office

I temporarily worked in a quasi-government office where two employees for a whole year expressed a continual agenda toward me. To this day, I still have no idea as to why. I realized the problem was theirs, not mine.

They slandered me to the program's officers, but being a new employee I was never consulted by those in authority. For the final month, the atmosphere became very heavy. I surrendered myself to the hands of God whom I serve. Still I was not consulted. I prayed and waited.

One afternoon, while sitting at my desk, I could feel a presence. Suddenly, there was a flash of bright light in which stood an angel about nine feet tall. He spoke.

“Abba, Daddy God, wants you to know He is with you.”

And the angel vanished, leaving me with faith in his heavenly assurance. I was dismissed from the office to do other things for God. But not before I called for a state appeal, which exonerated me as being dismissed without just cause.

Angels in the Thunderstorm

Writing one of my articles for God, I heard a noisy thunderstorm approaching from the west. Out my window facing, I could see the dark black clouds approaching. Suddenly, as I typed on my computer, I felt the presence of two angels behind my left shoulder. One leaned toward my ear.

“Satan doesn't like what you are doing. He is bringing that thunderstorm upon you,” said one.
“He plans to throw a thunder bolt at you,” said the other.

I immediately thought of Jesus at rest in the boat during the storm on the Sea of Galilee.

But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" (Mark 4:40 NKJV).

I am going to keep on writing my article, I thought. In a direct hit, the thunder bolt like a bomb blast shook my house and somewhat stunned me.

Our phone lines and some equipment needed to be replaced. However, my wife felt it was time to switch to wireless, and so we upgraded to fast data service. The new equipment turned out to be a wonderful blessing in writing for God. Satan, you know, always overplays his hand.

Yes, the angels are with us.

God Speaks to Man—Mary Hunt

Have you Great Love? World Pastors are calling for

Men and Women of Faith.

Jesus Sends His Disciples.

The Father looks on his beloved Son -
My son in whom I take delight,
formed from the depths of my heart you are
The apple of my eye, filled with my might.
My son, born to be crowned a king
To move in full authority
To speak my word and walk my commands
Scepter and ring are in your hands.

Stand tall, my Son; call not retreat.
Trample the enemy under your feet.
For you have my power; you have my sword
You have my covering; I am your Lord.
Come here, draw close and listen to me;
Hear me tell of our victory.
The picture I form is within your head;
Trust what I give you; remember I’ve said
You’re the head, not the tail,
You’re the first, not the last.
Look to my coming; forget what is past.

My blood covers over; you’re free to begin.
Discover the calling I’ve placed within.
Rise up and follow; it’s time that we start
To gather together those near to my heart.
Gather together: invite them all in.
Tell them my story: I deliver from sin.
Tell them I love them; show them my love.
Tell them I’m coming soon from above.
Tell them I love them; tell them I’m coming,
Tell them, tell them, O Son of my love.

More Nigerians killed than officials know

Violence Continues in Nigeria as Bishop Akinola Warns President.

Warns Nigerian Anglican Bishop Peter Akinola.

By Abdias Pasoville
JOS, Nigeria, May 29 (Compass Direct News) – In Nigeria’s Plateau state, Christian leaders said more Christians have died at the hands of Muslim extremists than the 35 that the military reported thus far in May.

In three local government areas in Plateau state, armed Fulani herdsmen attacked 15 Christian villages, killing and maiming Christians, destroying homes and leaving more than 1,000 villagers displaced, sources said.

Villagers said the attackers were Muslim Fulani herdsmen likely supplied and instigated by Islamic extremist groups.

Sources told Compass that Muslim gunmen invaded Rinyam village on May 9 at about 12:30 a.m. and shot seven Christians in their homes, though increasingly assailants are using only machetes and knives to avoid notice by soldiers charged with keeping order.

The Nigerian president on Sunday (May 27) took pointed criticism over the violence. At a special worship service in Abuja for Democracy Day with President Goodluck Jonathan in attendance, the former Anglican primate of the Church of Nigeria, Peter Akinoloa, told those gathered at the National Christian Centre Abuja that the government should not dialogue with Boko Haram.

They want to eliminate ‘infidels,’ which includes you, Mr. President,” Akinola said. “You open yourself to ridicule if you open dialogue to a group that has made the country ungovernable. Don’t treat them with kid gloves. You don’t dialogue with criminals.”

Speaking later, Jonathan said he has directed security agencies to launch a complete war against Boko Haram.

“We have done a lot and committed resources to advance our security architecture in order to tackle terrorism, and, God willing, we shall overcome,” he said. “My request is for you to stand by me.”

Criticism From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, the Niger State governor, has criticised the group saying "Islam is known to be a religion of peace and does not condone violence and crime in any form" and Boko Haram doesn't represent Islam.[23]
The Sultan of Sokoto Sa'adu Abubakar, the spiritual leader of Nigerian Muslims, has called the sect "anti-Islamic" and, as reported by the website AllAfrica.com, "an embarrassment to Islam."[24]
The Coalition of Muslim Clerics in Nigeria (CMCN) have called on the Boko Haram to disarm and embrace peace.[25]
The Islamic Circle of North America,[26] the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada,[27] The Muslim Council of Britain,[28] the Organization of Islamic Cooperation[29] and the Council on American Islamic Relations[30] have all condemned the group.

In God's World,
I believe we have an obligation to pray for our fellow Christians in the Persecuted Church. I am disheartened at those, indeed, who take no interest in the suffering of all the peoples and nations in the World, in the slaughter and torment of men, women, and children by evil men, the forces of satan. It's so easy to pray. Yet, prayer is the most powerful force in Creation. The darkness of evil hates the Light of God. If we are followers of He who is the Light, then we must pray for the World. Will you?

John 3:19 NKJV: "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
